I named my product Miserably Unemployed. It was a fun, quirky experiment, and for the initial small scale, I guess it was fine. I was just having some fun. If you have been job hunting lately, the name probably landed about the way you were feeling. It certainly reflected my thoughts about the market in general.

But enough people told me it was just too negative and even though I pushed back on it for months, they were right.

Job hunting is miserable enough without the tool you are using agreeing with you about it.

So it is HireHoot now. Same product. A job board that pulls openings straight from employer systems rather than waiting for them to be reposted, and a set of tools to help you track, tailor, and prepare for that new future you're so hopeful for.

If you already use it, nothing else has changed. Your resumes, saved jobs, applications and credits are exactly where you left them. We are at hire-hoot.com now, your old links redirect on their own. You'll have to sign back in since the domain is changed. No biggie.

Thank you to everyone who has been supporting the project as it grows and matures.

If you haven't given it a chance, I highly suggest that you go there now and create an account. Let's get you hired.
