Just a heads up: we had a search outage for the last 10-12 hours. I apologize! We've mostly sorted out the technical hiccup (our main cluster ran out of RAM) and things should be much faster now when you search on the job board.
The core reason that this happened was because we'd added so many new employers that it just blew past our cluster's capabilities.
Let me know if you encounter any issues.
🔎 Search got rebuilt and launched today!
Results now rank by how well they match, and every row shows which of your words it matched. "SEO" no longer returns jobs in "Seoul", "UI/UX Designer" finds "UX Designer", accents work, etc. It's a solid upgrade for user's intent instead of strict keyword matching.
We also removed Jobgether: we don't carry external aggregators, and certainly not ones that are such bad actors. You can read more about this in our Pledge page.
