Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker for our client to join the Locality Team at Wirral Council.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and well-established team, working with children and families to deliver positive outcomes. You will manage a varied caseload, undertake assessments, complete statutory visits, and work closely with partner agencies to safeguard and support children.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Manage a caseload of children and families within the Locality Team.
- Complete Child and Family Assessments.
- Undertake Child in Need and Child Protection work.
- Carry out statutory visits and reviews.
- Work in partnership with schools, health professionals, and other agencies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case recordings.

Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have;
- Social Work England registration.
- Qualified Social Worker status.
- Previous experience within Children's Services.
- Strong assessment and safeguarding experience.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
