As the Security Manager, you will play a critical role in driving country-wide security strategies, aviation security compliance, investigations, risk management, and business continuity initiatives across Taiwan.

Key Responsibilities

Security Strategy & Risk Management

Lead and implement DHL's security strategy across Taiwan.
Identify, assess, and mitigate operational, physical, cargo, and information security risks.
Advise country management on security threats, emerging risks, and preventive measures.
Conduct regular security risk assessments and recommend improvement initiatives.

Aviation & Cargo Security Compliance

Ensure full compliance with Taiwan aviation security regulations and DHL global security standards.
Oversee cargo screening and aviation security processes across gateways, service centers, and operational facilities.
Maintain security certifications, audits, and accreditation requirements, including TAPA and other industry standards.
Act as the key liaison with aviation authorities and regulatory bodies on security-related matters.

Security Operations & Investigations

Lead investigations involving shipment losses, theft, fraud, security breaches, and other incidents.
Drive corrective and preventive actions to minimize recurring risks.
Maintain security incident reporting, analysis, and management processes.
Monitor security trends and assess potential impacts on DHL operations.

Stakeholder & Government Relations

Build strong partnerships with law enforcement agencies, airport authorities, customs, aviation regulators, and government bodies.
Represent DHL on security-related matters with external stakeholders.
Support customers by providing security expertise and participating in customer security reviews when required.

Security Awareness & Training

Promote a strong security culture throughout the organization.
Develop and deliver security awareness and compliance training programs.
Ensure employees, contractors, and vendors understand and follow DHL security policies and procedures.

Business Continuity & Crisis Management

Lead business continuity planning and security contingency preparedness.
Support crisis management and emergency response activities.
Ensure operational readiness for business disruptions and security incidents.

Vendor & Facility Security Management

Manage security service providers and monitor service performance.
Ensure security systems, equipment, and facility controls operate effectively.
Conduct security audits and inspections across DHL facilities and retail locations.

Security Case Management System

Provide input and participate in the reporting of security incidents into the database
Prepare and analyse the database information for the production of regular reports on shipment and other security incidents, including Dangerous Goods. Where appropriate, recommend and initiate actions to investigate and resolve significant security incidents as they occur

Who We Are Looking For

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Logistics, Aviation, or related disciplines.
Minimum 8 years of experience in security, risk management, aviation security, law enforcement, military, investigations, logistics, or related fields.
Experience working with government agencies, regulatory authorities, airport operators, or customs authorities is highly preferred.
Knowledge of aviation security regulations, cargo security requirements, and security compliance frameworks.
