Job Title: Business Process Engineer (Platform Specs Analyst) - Generative AI and API integration Location: 100% Remote EST Candidates Only Must Work EST Business Hours Duration: 6-12+ Months (Possible Extension) Rate: $Market/Hour on W2 Eligibility: W2 only Open to US Citizens, Green Card Holders (No C2C / No Third Parties) Summary: Seeking a techno-functional Business Process Engineer with strong Generative AI and API integration experience to translate business goals, architecture, and platform capabilities into implementation-ready specifications. The role will create structured AI context packages, API/data/service contracts, workflow definitions, business rules, user journeys, acceptance criteria, and validation logic that enable engineers and AI coding agents to deliver high-quality solutions. Experience in mortgage or financial services is highly preferred. This role requires someone who understands both business processes and technology and can leverage Generative AI to improve software delivery. Preferred Experience / Capabilities: • Strong business analysis, systems analysis, requirements engineering, and technical documentation skills. • Ability to work with API specifications, integration patterns, data schemas, workflow definitions, and service contracts. • Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, scenarios, test cases, process flows, and implementation artifacts. • Familiarity with agile delivery, product backlogs, QA automation concepts, and AI-assisted development workflows. • Ability to communicate effectively with business, engineering, architecture, security, and operations stakeholders. Differentiators: • Acts as a multiplier for engineers by creating high-quality context that lets AI agents produce better first-pass outputs. • Owns precision and clarity in a model where thin coordination surfaces replace recurring clarification meetings.
