Job Description Software design for control systems Programming of control systems (Siemens, Rockwell, SCADA applications) Provide technical documentation relevant to software (MS Word, MS Excel) Manage project schedule throughout the software design to validation process, communicating routine updates with the project team Manage external contractors (control panel fabrication, electrical/instrumentation/control installation) as needed to support the project Train site maintenance automation technicians and engineers on new software Support installation and commissioning of control system Support validation team with testing of control system Lead automation projects and provide validation support Participate in determining project budget, planning, scheduling, logistics, procurement, communication, bid oversight, construction management, routine updates, and qualifications. Integrate specific control systems, instrumentation, process, utilities, and qualification testing form projects. Coordinate with Information Technology team on the network design and installation Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GxP) Compliance, Change Control, Quality Oversight, and Validation. Implement and test design solutions and maintain technical project files. Design, test, and implement control systems for various operations. Develop project PLC codes, configure, and set up control systems. Research and identify materials appropriate for automated system designs. Provide support in Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Building Automation System (BAS) Validation, Manufacturing and Utilities areas to improve the overall manufacturing safety, effectiveness, and reliability.
