Responsibilities Perform comprehensive plumbing inspections using cameras and schematics to identify issues within residential water systems. Repair and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and related components, ensuring compliance with local building codes. Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete projects efficiently and safely. Conduct remodeling and assembly tasks involving plumbing components as part of larger construction or renovation projects. Diagnose mechanical problems within HVAC systems that impact plumbing or water flow; implement effective solutions. Adhere to safety protocols during heavy lifting, construction site activities, and when operating construction plumbing equipment. Skills Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, plumbing inspection cameras, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment. Familiarity with local building codes, plumbing system maintenance and repair standards, and remodeling practices. Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately for installation or troubleshooting purposes.
