Job Title: Water Mitigation Technician Location: Winston-Salem and Charlotte, North Carolina Rytech Restoration is seeking Water Mitigation Technicians in the Winston-Salem and Charlotte areas. The ideal candidate has strong water mitigation experience, possesses a strong work ethic, and demonstrates excellent customer service and communication skills. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: • Follow project plans and instructions from the General/Project Manager • Load, unload, and correctly set up equipment at the job site • Wear appropriate protective equipment and follow guidelines to ensure a safe environment • Assess the extent of water damage and perform drying, dehumidification, cleaning, and sanitization • Use various equipment such as moisture meters, air movers, dehumidifiers, vacuums etc. • May require going under a house to pull out insulation and set up necessary equipment • Take before-and-after photos of jobs with accurate labels for documentation purposes • Perform routine checks to ensure equipment is operational, and report loss or damage • Keep work areas neat, safe, and organized • Report any issues or concerns promptly • Participate in on-call rotation Requirements: • Must have water mitigation experience • IICRC WRT certification would be nice to show industry experience but not required • Proficiency with DASH or MICA/Mitigate software • Skilled in using hand and power tools, and mitigation equipment • Ability to perform tasks that may include lifting up to 70 pounds, climbing ladders, and working at heights and in confined spaces • Experience in carpentry, drywalling, flooring, or painting is an advantage • Proficient in taking basic measurements and calculations • Able to work independently and in a team • Strong work ethic, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • A valid Driver's License, clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle • Able to pass a background check and drug screen
