We are seeking an Entry-Level Travel Advisor to assist clients with researching, planning, and coordinating travel experiences. This role is well suited for individuals who enjoy travel, customer service, organization, and working with people.
Travel Advisors communicate directly with clients to understand their travel preferences and assist with researching destinations, accommodations, transportation, activities, and other travel services. Advisors are responsible for maintaining accurate client information, communicating professionally, and helping clients navigate the travel-planning process from initial consultation through completion of their trip arrangements.
This is a remote, independent contractor position with a flexible work environment. Advisors are responsible for managing their own workflow, client communication, and business-related expenses.
Responsibilities
Communicate with clients to understand their travel preferences, needs, and budgets.
Research destinations, accommodations, transportation, activities, and travel experiences.
Prepare customized travel recommendations and itineraries.
Assist clients with eligible travel reservations and arrangements.
Maintain organized client records and travel details.
Communicate with clients and travel suppliers in a professional and timely manner.
Research destination information, travel policies, and supplier offerings.
Provide ongoing customer service throughout the travel-planning process.
Manage multiple client requests, deadlines, and travel arrangements.
Maintain professionalism and accuracy when handling client information.
Requirements
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to research information and compare travel options.
Basic computer skills, including email, web browsing, online platforms, and common office applications.

Previous travel-industry experience is helpful but not required.
Compensation
This is a commission-based independent contractor position. Compensation is earned from eligible travel bookings and varies based on applicable supplier commission structures and completed sales. There is no guaranteed hourly wage or salary associated with this position.
