We're hiring a Bartender - Senior Position to join the team at Pembroke Kilkenny – Ireland's Boutique Hotel of the Year 2024 Whether you are an experienced bar professional or ready to step up into a senior role, we're looking for someone who takes pride in service excellence, knows their craft, and wants to grow with an employer awarded "Great Place to Work" and "Best in Hospitality" for the past three years. The Role You will be a key presence in Statham’s, setting the standard for service, supporting the smooth running of stock and team, and acting as a trusted point of reference for both guests and colleagues. You'll bring an element of ownership and seniority to the floor, keeping things running smoothly, spotting opportunities for improvement, and helping the team deliver at their best. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering service excellence and maintaining best practice across the bar Supporting sales and upselling efforts, and helping strengthen the guest offer Contributing ideas to improve bar SOPs and the overall guest journey Communicating any issues around maintenance, guest care, health & safety, staff or cash handling promptly and clearly Motivating and supporting your teammates, and helping train others on bar standards Ensuring guest feedback is passed on through the daily handover Handling guest data and reservation details with discretion and accuracy Representing the Pembroke values and brand through your day-to-day approach While the nature of the business requires flexibility with hours, this is within a group renowned for wellbeing and work-life balance, as well as personal progression.
