SMJ Luxury Kitchens & Interiors Ltd is a premier manufacture of high-end bespoke kitchens, architectural joinery, and luxury residential furniture and are currently recruiting a highly skilled Furniture Maker / Craft Woodworker to join our growing team in Co. Tipperary.
The successful candidate will have a deep passion for fine woodworking, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to take custom furniture concepts from technical drawings through to final premium assembly and finish.
Key Responsibilities & Duties for this role include:
- Read and accurately interpret complex architectural blueprints, production drawings, and 3D design specifications.
- Assemble premium furniture pieces, high-end kitchen cabinets, custom wardrobes, and luxury storage units.
- Conduct precision sanding, fitting of heavy-duty luxury architectural hardware, and initial surface finishing prep.
- Ensure high-quality standards are met throughout the production process-Perform quality control checks on finished pieces.
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to meet deadlines and resolve issues.
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment-Follow all health and safety procedures.
we are looking for a candidate who has a minimum of 2- 5 years' experience in cabinet making required-
Strong understanding of joinery techniques and production processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent English required
