Key Responsibilities
The Healthcare Assistant will be responsible for supporting residents with their daily care needs, including:
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including eating, personal hygiene, showering, dressing, and using the toilet.
• Using appropriate moving and handling equipment to safely assist residents when required.
• Maintaining clean, tidy, and comfortable resident rooms and living areas.
• Communicating with residents in a respectful and reassuring manner and providing emotional support.
• Participating in meetings with nurses and other healthcare professionals when required.
• Observing residents carefully and reporting any significant changes in their physical or emotional condition.
• Maintaining confidentiality, dignity, respect, and professionalism at all times.
• Following all relevant care procedures, health and safety requirements, and organisational policies.
