Project Manager 100% Remote Role 6+ Months Contract (Potential for extensions) Start ASAP 1 or 2 interviews Pay Range: $40-43/hr on W2 + Medical Benefits 4 Openings Job Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for leading high-impact projects, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of strategic initiatives in the IT and Cybersecurity Managed Service Provider industry. This role requires strong leadership, project management knowledge, risk management, and stakeholder engagement skills. Key Responsibilities: • Strategic Project Leadership: o Lead and manage complex, high-visibility projects from initiation to completion. o Align projects with client objectives and corporate strategy. o Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocations. o Drive continuous improvement and best practices in project management. • Stakeholder & Executive Engagement: o Partner with client stakeholders and internal stakeholders to define project goals and success criteria. o Facilitate client facing project status meetings, presentations, and strategic discussions. o Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring project alignment and buy-in. • Risk, Issue, and Change Management: o Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks. o Implement structured issue resolution and change management processes. o Ensure compliance with industry regulations, governance frameworks, and company policies. • Cross-Functional Team Leadership: o Direct and coordinate project teams, ensuring accountability and high performance. o Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. • Performance Measurement & Reporting: o Track personal key project metrics (KPIs) to measure success. o Provide regular project updates to executives and stakeholders. o Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned for future optimization. • Other MSP Industry Standards: o Experience with Service Transition and/or Implementation projects. o Familiar with Cybersecurity, Financial Institution and AI projects and product scopes. Qualifications & Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred). • PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL certification preferred. • 7+ years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of leading large-scale initiatives. • Deep expertise in project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, SAFe). • Strong financial and budget management experience. • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.). • Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
