Responsibilities Tasks Prepare production and other reports Recommend measures to improve productivity Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality Supervise workers and projects Co-ordinate and schedule activities Estimate costs and materials Ensure health and safety regulations are followed Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units Supervision 1 to 2 people Industrial mechanics Education: Other trades certificate or diploma in Engineering mechanics Experience: 5 years or more On site: Work must be completed at the physical location.
