Role SummaryWe’re looking for an experienced Commercial Furniture Project Coordinator to keep complex projects moving from order through installation and closeout.You’ll be the operational hub connecting sales, design, manufacturers, logistics, installation teams, and clients—tracking details, resolving issues, and making sure orders, schedules, and project information stay accurate.The ideal candidate has worked in a commercial furniture dealership or manufacturer environment, understands the furniture project lifecycle, and is comfortable managing multiple projects at once. Experience with dealership ERP systems and familiarity with CET/Configura is a strong plus.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate commercial furniture projects from internal handoff through delivery, installation, punch, and closeout.Enter and maintain quotes, sales orders, purchase orders, change orders, and project information within dealership ERP or project systems.Review orders, specifications, drawings, finishes, quantities, pricing, and project documentation for accuracy.Review manufacturer acknowledgements and resolve discrepancies before they affect delivery or installation.Track lead times, ship dates, backorders, substitutions, and other issues that could impact project schedules.Keep sales, design, manufacturers, operations, installation, accounting, and other stakeholders aligned on project status and next steps.Coordinate changes and revisions, ensuring pricing, orders, schedules, and internal systems remain accurate.Support delivery and installation readiness, including site access, logistics, scheduling, and field requirements.Assist with punch-list items, replacement orders, warranty issues, invoicing, and project closeout.Proactively identify missing information, potential errors, and schedule risks—and follow them through to resolution.What We’re Looking For2+ years of experience in commercial furniture project coordination, dealer operations, order management, sales support, or a closely related role.Experience working for a commercial furniture dealership, contract furniture manufacturer, or workplace interiors company strongly preferred.Familiarity with manufacturers such as Steelcase, Haworth, MillerKnoll, Teknion, Kimball, Allsteel, HON, Humanscale, or similar brands.Strong understanding of the commercial furniture project lifecycle, including order processing, acknowledgements, lead times, delivery, installation, changes, punch, and closeout.Strong attention to detail and the ability to catch discrepancies before they become costly problems.Ability to manage multiple active projects, deadlines, and priorities at the same time.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.Systems & SoftwareExperience with commercial furniture ERP, dealership, order-management, or project systems is preferred, including platforms such as:HedbergKhameleonNetSuiteProjectSpecOther dealership-specific ERP or order-management systemsExperience with CET/Configura is preferred.
