About Thereafter
Thereafter Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-based estate planning and Wills drafting company. We support individuals and families in understanding and preparing the relevant documentation for their future estate and succession planning needs.
We believe that estate planning is not simply about preparing a Will. It requires an understanding of an individual's assets, family circumstances, business interests and the practical considerations that may arise when planning for the future.
This internship has been designed as a structured learning and professional exposure programme for individuals who are interested in understanding the broader ecosystem surrounding estate planning, succession and business continuity.
Why This Internship May Be Valuable for Business and Law Undergraduates
Estate planning sits at the intersection of law, business, wealth, succession and family dynamics.
For Business undergraduates, the programme offers exposure to areas that are often not extensively covered in traditional business education. Interns may gain a better understanding of how privately held businesses, ownership structures and succession considerations can affect business continuity and long-term planning.
For Law undergraduates, the programme provides an opportunity to better understand how concepts relating to Wills, succession, probate, estate administration, trusts and business succession may arise in practical contexts. Interns may also have opportunities to learn from legal professionals and gain exposure to the wider professional ecosystem surrounding estate and succession matters.
Rather than focusing on a single discipline, this programme is designed to provide exposure to the practical intersection between law, business, wealth and succession.
