JOB ROLE:
The Senior IT Executive provides operational IT support across CCCS, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of IT systems, timely resolution of technical issues, and support for system implementation and maintenance.
CRITICAL WORK FUNCTIONS AND KEY TASKS
IT Operations & Support
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support (onsite and remote).
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and systems.
- Support users across all sectors in resolving IT-related issues.
System Administration
- Create and maintain user accounts (e.g. Office 365, local domain)
- Maintain access systems (e.g. biometric, CCTV)
- Ensure proper functioning of servers, printers, and network devices
- Maintain IT inventory and asset records
Implementation Support
- Support implementation of IT systems and upgrades
- Assist in deployment of new applications and devices
- Carry out system configurations based on requirements
Documentation & Maintenance
- Maintain accurate IT documentation (infrastructure, inventory, configurations)
- Support updates to SOPs and user guides
- Ensure proper tracking of IT assets and subscriptions
Vendor Coordination
- Liaise with vendors for issue resolution and service requests
- Support procurement processes and follow up on deliverables
Risk & Compliance Support
- Support implementation of IT security measures
- Assist in system audits and maintenance checks
- Support PDPA-related processes and implementation
Audio-Visual & General Support
- Support AV setup and maintenance for events and programmes
Resource Planning
- Utilise resources in a cost-effective manner
- Contribute towards the annual budget planning exercise
- Work within budget allocated for the financial year
Internal Processes and Training
- Comply with established policies, procedures, processes and workflows
- Contribute to the review and continuous improvement of
- Information Technology SOPs and workflows
- Support the IT Manager in the design/training of staff on IT initiatives/processes and security-related procedures.
- Identify trends and technology that the organisation can strive to adopt to improve business processes across the sectors.
IT Projects
- Assist the IT Manager to drive digital transformation initiatives in line with strategic objectives of the organisation.
General
- Support on evenings/weekends when necessary, in line with the nature of this role, to support and uphold event-focused responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager, IT & DPO
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum a Diploma in IT or any related disciple
- At least 3-5 years of relevant technical working experience
- Strong understanding of operating systems (MS Window Server and Office 365, Cloud technologies)
- Knowledge of web design and programming tools
- Good working knowledge in performing extensive network troubleshooting and debugging.
- Good project management, planning, and organisation skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Independent, self-driven and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to learn and embrace newer technological tools and is adaptable to changes.
- Timeliness and a high level of initiative in task execution
- Good interpersonal and communications skills to interact and liaise with end users of all levels effectively and different stakeholders
- Has a strong learning agility and is resilient in managing change and ambiguity
- High level of personal integrity
