Painter required to work at CRS Contracts, located at Kilcoole, Wicklow. The candidate must have at least six month's experience in a similar role. Duties include preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, filling holes and cracks, and priming; applying paint, varnishes and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces of residential, commercial and industrial properties; carrying out decorative finishes as required; ensuring a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail; selecting and mixing paints to achieve the required colour and finish; operating and maintaining painting tools and equipment safely and efficiently; carrying out power washing and surface preparation prior to painting; complying with all health and safety regulations, particularly when working at height or using industrial equipment; protecting surrounding areas using appropriate coverings; liaising with clients and colleagues to ensure project requirements are met; maintaining a clean and organised working environment; and completing work within agreed deadlines.
