What you need to have to succeed in this role

3 years + proven experience in vendor, cost, commercial management or in related Procurement category roles, preferably in a multi geography/stakeholder FI or equivalent organisation
Track record of identifying cost reduction/optimisation opportunities.
Good understanding of procurement sourcing/category management principles whilst also having a sound understanding of financial principles.
Knowledge of IT infrastructure technical platforms and vendor management policies.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and communicate at all levels of the organisation.
Analytical approach with the ability to understand and resolve problems.
Experience in managing IT contracts and commercial awareness solutions
