Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Carpenter role located in Temple, TX. The Carpenter will perform a variety of carpentry tasks including layout, framing, and finish work for residential and commercial projects.
Daily responsibilities include measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other materials, installing doors, windows, trim, and fixtures, and ensuring work meets safety, quality, and building code standards. The role involves regular use of hand and power tools,
reading and interpreting blueprints or construction plans, and collaborating with supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule. The Carpenter is expected to maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications
• Strong carpentry skills, including framing and general construction experience Proficiency with power tools such as saws, drills, nail guns, and related equipment
• Confident use of hand tools including hammers, chisels, levels, and tape measures
• Experience with finish carpentry, including trim, molding, and detailed interior work
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints,• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and commitment to safe work practices
• Physical ability to lift materials, stand, bend, and work on ladders throughout the day
Reliable transportation to the Temple, TX jobsite and consistent punctuality
High school diploma or equivalent; formal carpentry training or apprenticeship preferred
Previous experience as a Carpenter in residential or commercial construction strongly preferred
