SEB Luxembourg branch serves as the hub for Private Wealth Management & Family Office (PWM&FO) services to Nordic nationals living abroad. It is also the base for many of SEB's funds and offers global custody and related depositary services to financial institutions. We are around 150 employees with more than 20 different nationalities and in the midst of further growth and expansion.


About the role

We are looking for an experienced Insurance Specialist to join our Coverage team in Luxembourg.

In this role, you will act as the central coordinator for insurance-related matters within PWM&FO Luxembourg and serve as the primary point of contact towards insurance companies. You will work closely with Client Executives, Client Service Partners, Wealth Planners, and external insurance providers to ensure seamless execution of insurance transactions and high-quality client service.


Key responsibilities:

Act as the main contact point towards life insurance companies, maintaining strong external relationships
Coordinate and oversee insurance-related transactions, including subscriptions, amendments, and claims
Ensure efficient execution and follow-up of all insurance processes across internal and external stakeholders
Provide expert support to Client Executives and Wealth Planners on life insurance structures and solutions
Ensure all insurance activities comply with regulatory requirements (KYC, AML, cross-border rules)
Maintain and improve process documentation and working procedures, ensuring consistency and efficiency
Monitor documentation quality and ensure that client files remain complete and compliant (“House in Order”)
Identify opportunities to enhance operational processes and client experience
Act as a knowledge hub within the team, sharing expertise on insurance products and market practices

Experience & qualifications:

Significant experience (typically 5+ years) in life insurance, preferably within private banking, wealth management, or international insurance providers
Strong understanding of cross-border insurance solutions and regulations
Experience working with international clients and complex structures
University degree in finance, economics, law, or similar


Skills:

Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
High level of attention to detail and quality
Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
Fluency in English; Nordic languages are an advantage
