Job Description

You will provide temporary assistance to our Global Trade Compliance Team i.e. you will complete the actual screening and assessment of dual use items. This is a temporary assigneent for 6 months with a starting date as of October 1st, 2026.


Responsibilities:

Conduct initial Denied Party Screening (DPS) reviews for customers, suppliers, carriers and other business partners in accordance with company policies and procedures
Support dual-use and export control compliance processes
Verify End User Certificates (EUCs) & Know Your Customer (KYC) and other trade compliance documentation for completeness and accuracy
Support daily import and export activities by ensuring customs documentation is complete, accurate, and available for customs clearance
Serve as a key point of contact for customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders on customs clearance matters within the European Union, with particular focus on Luxembourg customs requirements
Assist in resolving customs clearance issues, customs holds, and requests for information from customs authorities and customs brokers
Maintain HS classification master data within business systems
Ensure customs and trade compliance records are maintained in accordance with company policies and regulatory recordkeeping requirements
Support customs audits, post-clearance reviews, and requests from customs authorities
Collaborate with other business functions to support compliant and efficient international trade operations

Qualifications

Preferable the candidate has some experience in Customs, Logistics, or Trade Compliance, Administrative or equivalent experience
Some years of work experience in a similar position
Professional and team-oriented approach
Attention to detail
Solid experience in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Fluent in English
Additional language skills in French or German would be considered an asset
Proven multi-tasking skills, and ability to work in a fast-past environment
Strong analytical, and organizational skills
Flexible, detail-oriented person who is able to prioritize task easily
Self-starter who requires minimal direction or supervision and works well independently as well as in a team environment
