The Research Scientist will play a key role in designing and conducting experiments with emphasis on cell biology, cell culture, media development, and protein-related applications. They will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support the company's research and product development objectives.
Duties:
- Design and conduct experiments to address research objectives.
- Develop and optimize cell culture media and related reagents.
- Perform mammalian cell culture and maintain various cell lines.
- Design and perform cell-based assays and flow cytometry analysis.
- Conduct protein-related experiments, including protein characterization and functional evaluation.
- Stay updated on scientific advancements through literature reviews.
- Perform laboratory work, including sample preparation, data collection, and analysis.
- Interpret results, draw conclusions, and present findings through reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with scientists and cross-functional teams on research and product development.
- Maintain accurate experimental records in compliance with company policies and quality requirements.
- Assist in preparing research proposals, technical documents, and publications.
- Participate in scientific conferences, seminars, and workshops.
Requirements:
- Master's degree or higher in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or related fields.
- 3-8 years of research experience in academia or industry, with a strong track record of scientific innovation.
- Extensive hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture, including NK and T cells, MSCs, and other mammalian cell lines.
- Hands-on experience with flow cytometry, cell imaging and cell-based assays.
- Experience in protein-related laboratory techniques (e.g., ELISA, SDS-PAGE, Western blot) and protein purification practices is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of experimental design, data analysis, and statistical tools.
- Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements(ISO9001 and GMP) and quality standards in scientific research.
