JOB PURPOSE & SUMMARY

The Rewards Analyst supports global compensation andbenefits (C&B) operations by driving data-driven job evaluations, marketbenchmarking, and compensation analytics. This role acts as a key technicalpartner for the global recruitment team and regional HR operations, utilizinganalytical frameworks like the Mercer International Position Evaluation (IPE)methodology to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness acrossinternational entities, with a strong emphasis on China and expatriate mobilityprograms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·      MercerMethodology & Job Evaluation: Apply the Mercer IPE framework (Impact,Communication, Innovation, and Knowledge) to evaluate, grade, and level rolesaccurately across global entities, ensuring robust job hierarchy and equity.

·      DataAnalysis & Salary Proposals: Gather, clean, aggregate, and modelcomplex C&B datasets. Prepare comprehensive, data-backed salary proposalsand package recommendations for senior management review and candidate offers.

·      Recruitment& Offer Negotiation: Partner with the Global Recruitment Team toevaluate market position, clarify pay details with candidates, and structurecompetitive salary packages, particularly for senior management and expatriatehires in China and international locations.

·      Benchmarking& Market Modeling: Maintain, update, and analyze compensationbenchmarks using Mercer salary surveys and external market intelligence tosupport annual salary reviews and keep corporate pay structures aligned withmarket trends.

·      GlobalMobility & HR Operations: Support international staff movements andexpatriate assignments by performing cost-of-living calculations, allowances,and rewards modeling for senior talent across borders.

·      Contracting& Onboarding Coordination: Draft offer proposals, employment contracts,and rewards documentation for executive/expatriate hires, coordinatingseamlessly with HR operations for smooth onboarding.

·      RewardsProjects & Initiatives: Participate in or lead specialized compensationand benefits projects, including annual merit increase cycles, bonus payoutmodeling, equity/incentive tracking, and policy updates.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

·      Education:Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance,Statistics, Data Analytics, or related disciplines.

·      Experience:Minimum 3–5 years of relevant HR experience in MNCs or matrix environments,with at least 2–3 years specializing in Compensation & Benefits andanalytical rewards roles.
·      MercerMethodology Expertise: Demonstrated hands-on experience and operationalfluency using the Mercer International Position Evaluation (IPE) methodologyfor job grading and compensation modeling.

·      AdvancedExcel & Analytics: Exceptional MS Excel skills (vlookups, index/match,complex nested formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, array formulas) with highnumerical accuracy and attention to detail.

·      ChinaMarket & Expat Knowledge: Working knowledge or direct experience withChina compensation policies, individual income tax frameworks, and rewardsstructures is highly valued.

·      AnalyticalMindset: Strong capability to translate complex quantitative datasetresults into actionable management insights and clear compensation proposals.

·      Communication& Stakeholder Management: Excellent command of spoken and writtenEnglish and Mandarin to collaborate effectively with cross-cultural, matrixteams and international stakeholders.

·      Autonomy& Execution: Proven ability to work with minimal supervision,prioritize effectively, and execute under tight, conflicting deadlines.
