Our client is looking for a hands-on Warehouse & Supply Chain Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse activities and coordinate inventory, purchasing and delivery follow-ups. You will lead the warehouse team, maintain accurate stock and ERP records, support material planning, and ensure operations meet company procedures and ISO 9001 and ISO45001 requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

Warehouse and inventory operations

Supervise receiving, inspection, labelling, put-away, picking, issuing, delivery and collection activities.
Verify physical goods against suppliers' delivery orders, purchasing records and the ERP system.
Ensure goods receipts, issues, transfers and stock adjustments are recorded accurately and promptly.
Maintain clear bin locations, stock identification, warehouse organisation and effective use of storage space.
Plan cycle counts and annual stocktakes, investigate discrepancies, and monitor slow-moving, ageing and excess stock.
Quarantine and report damaged, rejected or unidentified goods in line with procedures.

Supply chain coordination

Work with Procurement on replenishment needs, purchase-order status and urgent material requirements.
Track supplier deliveries, shipments, back orders and outstanding items, and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders.
Follow up with suppliers, freight providers and transport partners on delays, shortages or delivery discrepancies.
Support demand planning using historical usage, operational needs, safety stock, reorder points and supplier lead times.
Flag supply risks and support supplier reviews, sourcing and cost-control initiatives.

Team leadership, safety and compliance

Assign daily duties, monitor attendance and productivity, and provide clear handovers, briefings and performance guidance.
Train team members on warehouse procedures, ERP transactions, equipment handling and workplace safety requirements.
Maintain strong housekeeping and 5S standards, and ensure required PPE is worn.
Ensure forklifts, reach trucks, stackers and other equipment are operated only by trained and authorised personnel.
Conduct routine workplace and equipment checks; report incidents, near misses, hazards and defects promptly.
Support risk assessments, audits, investigations, corrective actions and operational, safety and training records.

Requirements

Diploma or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehousing or a related field.
At least three years of relevant warehouse or supply chain experience, including supervisory experience.
Sound knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control and supply chain processes.
Experience with ERP or inventory-management systems; AutoCount experience is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to operate material-handling equipment or possession of a valid forklift licence is an advantage.
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
