Ashley Hughes-Jefferson Consulting LLC is recruiting an experienced Semiconductor Technical Trainer & Course Development Specialist for an onsite opportunity in San Jose, California. This position combines semiconductor technical expertise, hands-on equipment knowledge, instructional delivery, and technical course development. The selected professional will develop and deliver training involving industrial semiconductor equipment while supporting training facilities and cleanroom environments. Key Responsibilities Deliver classroom and hands-on technical training for semiconductor equipment Provide training covering equipment operation, preventive maintenance, applications, and installation Develop new technical training materials, lesson plans, and course content Review and update existing instructional and technical documentation Verify technical procedures used by field service professionals and customers Deliver detailed presentations on complex technical subjects Maintain training equipment and prepare instructional environments Support equipment availability for demonstrations and hands-on training Share technical knowledge with less-experienced professionals Work with customers to understand training needs and gather feedback Qualifications Candidates should bring approximately 3 5+ years of relevant professional experience and a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience. Strong candidates may have experience involving: Semiconductor manufacturing or equipment Cleanroom or fab environments Semiconductor processes Equipment maintenance Photolithography equipment Field service Technical instruction or training Course development Technical documentation Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Previous experience as a technical trainer is particularly valuable. Important Position Requirements This is a full-time onsite position in San Jose, CA 95134. Candidates must be able to work in both professional office and cleanroom environments, including wearing required cleanroom and safety equipment. The position may require up to 50% travel within the United States, along with schedule flexibility. A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record may be required for business travel.
