Analyze General Ledger Accounting functions to ensure compliance with established operating procedures. Aid in accounts payable vouchering for non-automated vendors. Analyze logistics and freight management to identify exceptions (in our freight forwarder system) and potential cross charges to other businesses. Assist the North America team on tariff and duty analysis to identify procedural and process gaps as well as necessary corporate tariff reporting. Assist with drop shipping personnel (reporting, coding). Prepare periodic financial statements, reports and other analysis as requested. Analyze actual financial results and compare to budget, forecast, and prior periods. Load financial data into the corporate reporting management system for actuals and forecast. Analyze information and options by developing spreadsheet reports, verifying information. Provide monthly reconciliations of detail accounts with General Ledger Control accounts. Assist in preparation of operating budgets and annual operating plan. Prepare special reports required by upper management, other Departments and Corporate. Prepare and Report during Monthly Accounting closings. Assist with annual audit and hard close and help with requests from the internal and external audit staff. Position is fixed location based in Endicott, NY office; however, telecommuting from a home office is allowed up to 100%. Education and Experience Requirements Job Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Accounting or a directly related field plus two (2) years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience must include: Two (2) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently): - Macola 10 - Component manufacturing - General ledger and accounts payable modules - Financial reporting, forecasting, and management reporting systems, including SAP BPC, Hyperion - ERP-based accounting systems for financial reporting and data analysis - Analyzing financial results and performing budget, forecast, or variance analysis - Supporting accounts payable functions within an accounting system - Assisting with internal or external audit requests - Preparing periodic financial statements and management reports 40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm Telecommuting/Remote Work is Permitted Position is fixed location based in Endicott, NY office; however, telecommuting from a home office is allowed up to 100%.
