• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, a natural sciences discipline, or a related field
• Around 10 years of experience in full-stack software development using the following technology stack: Java, Spring (Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring REST, Spring Security, Spring Cloud), relational databases (RDBMS), and NoSQL databases
• Solid experience with JavaScript and APIs such as REST, both on the frontend (Angular) and backend (Node.js)
• Good understanding of DevOps principles and hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Nexus
• Strong knowledge of and experience with microservices architecture, object-oriented design (OOD), object-oriented analysis (OOA), and cloud design patterns
• Willingness to contribute to frontend development tasks whenever your expertise is needed
• Structured and methodical approach to work, with experience in agile methodologies and engineering practices such as Scrum, Kanban, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
• High quality standards and a strong sense of ownership for your work
• Excellent communication skills, a proactive and open mindset, and a customer-oriented approach
• Fluent German (minimum C1 level) and good English (minimum B2 level)
