Professional Experience
- Minimum 6 years of professional software development experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar Software Developer role.
- Experience with the complete lifecycle of at least one software solution, from analysis and design through implementation and deployment.
- Proven experience developing enterprise-level software systems.
- Experience working in Scrum/Agile development teams.
- Experience in providing technical leadership or leading technical teams.
Technical Skills
- Advanced/expert-level knowledge of software development within the relevant technology domain.
- Strong knowledge of UML and the ability to design applications using UML.
- Practical experience designing and developing:
- Data layer
- Business logic layer
- UI layer
- Ability to effectively document technical solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Mandatory Certification
The candidate must hold at least one of the following:
- An advanced-level certification in a software development technology domain, or
- An internationally recognised equivalent certification, subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority.
Specific Domain Experience
The candidate must have experience as a Software Developer or in a similar role in projects involving the analysis, design, implementation, and deployment of ICT solutions that meet the following criteria:
- Experience with a project that was part of or queried the Schengen Information System (SIS).
- Experience with an ICT solution enabling at least one of the following:
- Scanning fingerprints (at least two fingers) using the NIST format.
- Scanning documents containing MRZ (Machine Readable Zone), such as passports, national IDs, driving licences, visa stickers, or residence permits.
- Scanning biometric documents containing RFID chip data, such as passports or national IDs.
- Experience working on a project where Red Hat OpenShift was used as the main platform.
