Create civil designs, construct, operate, and maintain small construction projects and systems, including ground antennas, top-of-building antennas, airport antennas and mobile antennas. Analyze requirements, survey reports, design changes and other data to plan future projects. Read and understand the contract and project specifications. Communicate with suppliers and collect product data sheets for submission. Evaluate and analyze construction costs, government regulations, potential environmental hazards, and other factors in planning stages and risk associated with them. Compile, submit and monitor permit applications to local, state, and federal agencies and verify that projects comply with government regulations as required. Participate in soil testing projects to determine the adequacy and strength of the foundation. Manages engineering activities following project plans, specifications, and project schedules. Provide cost estimate for materials, equipment, and labor to determine project’s economic feasibility. Use civil and design software to prepare engineering documents, to plan and design structures in line with industry and government standards (TIA/ΕΙΑ-222-E, TIA-/EIA-222-F, TIA-222-H, TIA-222-G). Prepare reports, letters and emails for stakeholders. Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned. Participate in project meetings/teleconferences to support customers, support progress, implement procedures, and ensure compliance with engineering specifications and standards.
