Job Title: Senior Middleware Specialist HIAL IBM DataPower OpenShift AWS Location: Toronto, ON Onsite 5 days/week Duration: 9+ Months, possible extension Rate: Market/Hour CAD + HST Eligibility: Canadian Citizens, PRs & valid Work Permit holders Key Skills Required: • 7 10+ years of Middleware / Integration Engineering experience • IBM DataPower migration from physical appliance to OpenShift • IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) • OpenShift / Kubernetes & RHEL • AWS Cloud & CI/CD pipelines • Java / Spring Boot microservices • PKI, TLS/mTLS, certificates & encryption • Enterprise networking, Linux/Windows administration • Healthcare integration: HL7v3, HL7v2, FHIR, SOAP • ITIL, monitoring, troubleshooting, RCA & production support • Healthcare / public-sector / mission-critical environment experience Primary Responsibilities: • Lead HIAL modernization and migration to AWS. • Containerize IBM DataPower and App Connect Enterprise on OpenShift. • Upgrade RHEL and Java/Spring Boot components. • Design and implement Full Message Body Logging (FMBL). • Develop CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments. • Perform troubleshooting, testing, deployment and production support. • Coordinate with Cloud, UNIX, Network, Security, QA and Infrastructure teams. • Prepare implementation plans, runbooks, build books and operational documentation.
