A growing food and beverage company is seeking a Retail Sales Assistant to join its sales team in Torrance. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career candidate interested in sales, customer service, retail, or the food and beverage industry. You’ll work directly with the sales team while gaining hands-on experience with customer accounts, order coordination, reporting, retail programs, and consumer products. Responsibilities •Support the Retail Sales team with daily sales and administrative activities •Communicate with customers, retailers, brokers, vendors, and internal departments •Help coordinate customer orders and shipping updates •Prepare sales reports and presentation materials •Assist with product information, pricing updates, and sample requests •Support inventory tracking and customer service •Coordinate store demos, sales meetings, and conference calls •Assist with retail events, trade shows, and special projects as needed •Occasionally attend consumer events held during evenings or weekends, typically only once or twice per quarter Qualifications •Entry-level candidates and recent graduates are encouraged to apply •Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent education and experience •Strong communication and customer service skills •Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook •Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities •Sales, customer service, retail, food and beverage, or CPG experience is a plus •Valid driver’s license •Comfortable attending occasional evening or weekend consumer events Compensation & Benefits •Up to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience •Higher compensation may be considered for candidates with stronger experience •Full-time, direct-hire position •Comprehensive company benefits package •Training and long-term career growth opportunities •Evening or weekend events are infrequent, typically once or twice per quarter, and are scheduled with advance notice •Additional event hours are offset through an adjusted weekday schedule; for example, if a full Saturday is worked, the employee’s Monday Friday schedule will be reduced by one workday How to Apply Please email your resume to Subject Line: PJF-RETAILSALES-LN
