Department: NICU / PICU / Pediatrics Employment Type: Full-Time / Night Shift Position Summary: Provide specialized cardiopulmonary care to our most vulnerable patients as a Respiratory Care Practitioner II in our neonatal and pediatric units. You will deliver specialized therapies, support specialized equipment, and guide families through treatment plans. Key Responsibilities: Perform clinical assessments, set up specialized pediatric/neonatal ventilation equipment, and administer targeted therapies. Educate parents and caregivers on MDI administration, home aerosol therapy, oxygen management, and disease mitigation. Respond to neonatal and pediatric resuscitation calls, executing life-support measures as needed. Serve as a preceptor for team members transitioning into pediatric and neonatal care protocols. Maintain complete compliance with safety, environmental, and hospital infection control guidelines. Qualifications & Requirements: Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Care Professional (Required). Licensure: Current State Respiratory Care License (Required). Credentials: NBRC credentialed (Required); RRT preferred. Certifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and PALS required; BLS/ACLS required prior to patient care.
