Cruise Specialist Position Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable, organized, and customer-focused Cruise Specialist to assist clients with researching, planning, and coordinating cruise vacations. The ideal candidate enjoys travel, has strong communication skills, and is comfortable using online tools to research cruise options and assist clients with their travel plans. The Cruise Specialist will work with travelers to identify cruise experiences that align with their preferences, schedules, and budgets while providing professional customer service throughout the planning and reservation process. Key Responsibilities Consult with clients to understand their cruise preferences, travel dates, budget, and vacation goals. Research cruise lines, ships, itineraries, destinations, accommodations, and available amenities. Compare cruise options and provide personalized recommendations. Assist clients with cruise reservations and related travel arrangements. Prepare and maintain accurate cruise itineraries and client information. Communicate reservation details, important travel information, and applicable deadlines. Respond promptly and professionally to client questions and requests. Maintain organized records of client and reservation information. Stay informed about cruise destinations, itineraries, policies, and industry updates. Provide professional customer service before and throughout the travel-planning process. Requirements Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills required, including email, web browsers, online platforms, and common digital tools. Reliable internet access for online client communication and research. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to research information and compare travel options. Ability to manage multiple client requests and deadlines. Professional, dependable, and responsive. Comfortable working independently and managing assigned responsibilities. Previous experience in travel, hospitality, customer service, sales, or cruise-related services is helpful but may not be required.
