Leaves Manager/Supervisor/Lead 100% Remote 6-12 Months Long Term Contract Role 20-35 hrs a week Interviews: 1 or 2 rounds Job Details: • 8-15+ years of Leave Administration experience with demonstrated success leading leave vendor transitions, operational assessments, backlog remediation, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional stakeholder management. • Deep expertise in FMLA, ADA, state leave laws, leave systems, governance routines, and stabilization efforts following implementations or service disruptions. Strong consulting, project management, communication, and root cause analysis skills required. • Prioritize leave administration expertise and transition stabilization experience over traditional HR generalist experience, as those two factors will have the greatest impact on success in this engagement. • Provide transition stabilization support for the internal transition, including coordination with client’s stakeholders on open items, issue resolution, escalation tracking, meeting participation, and recommended best-practice approaches to support stabilization. • Conduct an assessment to identify current pain points, root causes, process gaps, system limitations, communication breakdowns, and risks impacting the leave administration experience. • Review open leave cases, pending tasks, backlog items, escalations, and aging issues to help prioritize remediation activities and support timely resolution. • Validate key leave data, file feeds, reporting outputs, and case documentation to help identify inaccuracies, missing information, or handoff issues that may be affecting administration. • Support the development of a short-term stabilization plan, including issue prioritization, ownership, target resolution timelines, communication cadence, and defined next steps. • Assist with employee, manager, and HR communications including clarification of roles, process changes, escalation paths, and expectations during the stabilization period. • Establish ongoing governance routines, including recurring status meetings, issue logs, decision tracking, and progress reporting to promote accountability and visibility through the transition.
