We are seeking a reliable and motivated Kitchen Steward to join our culinary team on a casual basis.
This is a hands-on role where you will work behind the scenes to support daily kitchen operations, maintain high hygiene standards and help create an efficient environment for our chefs to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Whether you are starting your hospitality career or looking to build your experience within a professional hotel environment, this role offers the opportunity to develop valuable skills and be part of a supportive team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation across kitchen, storage and back-of-house areas.
- Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, equipment and cookware.
- Cleaning kitchen equipment and workspaces in line with food safety standards.
- Supporting chefs and kitchen team members during service periods.
- Assisting with preparation tasks and ensuring kitchen areas are ready for service.
- Managing waste disposal and recycling in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Following workplace health, safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Supporting the wider Food & Beverage team to ensure smooth daily operations.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, team-focused and takes pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organisation.
You will bring:
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a busy kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
- Good communication skills and a reliable approach.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or hospitality environment is desirable, but not essential.
