Spanish Language Expert

Location: Chennai

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Spanish Language Expert to support business operations through effective communication in Spanish and English. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer interactions, coordinating with internal stakeholders, translating business communications, and ensuring high-quality support to global clients. Experience in the Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Supply Chain industry will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders via email, phone, and chat.
• Translate and interpret business communications from Spanish to English and vice versa.
• Manage customer queries and provide timely resolutions while maintaining service excellence.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of business processes.
• Prepare reports, maintain records, and update relevant systems accurately.
• Support business operations and ensure adherence to company policies and service standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
• 1-5 years of experience in customer service, operations, shared services, or related functions.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Preferred Skills

• Certification or formal qualification in the Spanish language (DELE/SIELE or equivalent preferred).
• Experience working with international clients.
• Exposure to ERP/CRM systems.
• Prior experience in a Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Shipping, or Supply Chain organization will be a strong advantage.
